We focus on one such type of intervention, the direct entrainment of brain oscillations by a periodic external drive. We here review conventional and new non-invasive brain stimulation protocols as to their suitability for controlled intervention into human brain oscillations. Induction of brain oscillations in a controlled and functionally meaningful way would likely prove highly beneficial for the study of brain oscillations, and their therapeutic control. The notion of driving brain oscillations by directly stimulating neuronal elements with rhythmic stimulation protocols has become increasingly popular in research on brain rhythms. The neurobiological and neurorehabilitation implications of these results are discussed. These findings may explain why comparable emotional and mental states can be experienced by people listening to music that differs as widely as Beethoven and Eminem. Given that musical preferences are uniquely individualized phenomena and that music can vary in acoustic complexity and the presence or absence of lyrics, the consistency of our results was unexpected. We also show that listening to a favorite song alters the connectivity between auditory brain areas and the hippocampus, a region responsible for memory and social emotion consolidation. We show that a circuit important for internally-focused thoughts, known as the default mode network, was most connected when listening to preferred music. Using network science methods, we evaluated differences in functional brain connectivity when individuals listened to complete songs. To date, understanding how this occurs in the brain has remained elusive. Yet, when listening to preferred music-regardless of the type-people report they often experience personal thoughts and memories. Previous research has focused on how different characteristics of music (i.e., classical versus country) affect the brain. Most people choose to listen to music that they prefer or 'like' such as classical, country or rock. Extensive research and clinical trials were conducted, methods and techniques were then reviewed and refined to produce the desired outcomes. #Neuro soundwaves code#In 2008, Neuro Code Research Centre proposed the Neuro Soundwave technology combining music therapy with brain entrainment by directly stimulating neuronal elements with rhythmic stimulation protocols to provide therapeutic effects and brain enhancement results. In addition, research into possible ways of producing a higher Coefficient of Efficiency was explored extensively by many researchers across the world. Traditional music therapy, binaural waves and TMS are mainstream techniques used in the mental wellness industry today. The emergence of biofeedback as a field of study in the nineteenth century opened a new frontier of research into EEG (electroencephalography) and the use of rhythmic brain entrainment with low frequencies similar to brain waves to influence and elevate the function of human brains. Across a few thousand years of human civilisation, ancient great philosophers and modern scientists shared a common view that music therapy can help the human brain to attain desired states of relaxation, happiness and enhance brain functions. Even as we progress with great advances in fields such as aerospace science, neuroscientists still do not fully understand the human brain. The human brain is extremely sophisticated and remains the least understood organ in the human body.
